Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip

This Pumpkin Cream Cheese Dip is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your Thanksgiving get together.  We are always getting invited to parties where you have to bring a dish, so it is nice to have some easy recipes in your back pocket when time is short.  Pumpkin is all over the place during Autumn.  I can’t even walk into a store without seeing pumpkin flavored potato chips or pumpkin ground beef mix or pumpkin spiced hybrid produce.  It is literally like the great pumpkin from the Peanuts Halloween special threw up all over every item at the grocery store.  I assume it’s safe to say that people must be enjoying the pumpkin craze as it continues to spiral out of control.  So, I bring you this delicious pumpkin cream cheese dip that is both easy to make and eat.  Everybody enjoys finger foods at parties and this one has several options for dippers.

Ingredients:

1 15oz can Pumpkin purée
16oz Cream Cheese (2 8oz packages) (softened to room temp.)
1/2 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
8oz Sour Cream
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon

Directions:

Using an electric mixer, combine the following: pumpkin, cream cheese, brown sugar, powdered sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth.

Add sour cream to pumpkin mixture at a low speed and mix until well combined and creamy.

Put in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour or until you are ready to serve it.

Serve it with any of the following or come up with your own dipping options:
Granny Smith Apples
Pretzels (pretzels are our favorite dipper because we like the sweet and salty combo)
Graham Cracker
Oatmeal Cookies

Try not to hog it all before your guests get some!
